iFaux.com was created to connect and promote the international faux decorating community.

Any website which contains user generated content requires responsibility on the part of those who use it. This is particularly true with respect to those who add content to the site. We ask that all users of ifaux.com respect the site and the others who use it. Please act responsibly.

Here are some guidelines that will help you make the best use of what we hope will be a valuable resource for all concerned.

1. Please try to accurately represent your products, your services, your studio, your organization, or your business in all the descriptions, tags, titles or thumbnails you post on the site. To do otherwise will diminish the integrity of the site.

2. iFaux.com is not for pornography or sexually explicit content. We realize that such material, being a reflection of the society that creates it, is sometimes a legitimate subject of discussion in the pursuit of the faux decorating industry services but ifaux.com is not the place to post images containing such material. Please report any such material that you find on this website by "flagging" such content or contacting iFaux.com via our feedback form.

3. Please do not post images which contain evidence of child exploitation, abuse of animals or people, or gratuitous violence. There is sometimes a fine line between social commentary in any art and what is acceptable to the community at large. Please respect that line and consider carefully what images you choose to represent you on iFaux.com.

4. Respect copyright and intellectual property rights. Only post images and text which you have the legal right to post or clearly credit (by name and / or link) the source of all content that is not original to you.

5. We encourage free speech and respect your right to express unpopular points of view, but we do not permit hateful comments which demean any individual or group based on race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, gender, age, sexual orientation, or sexual identity.

6. Threats, stalking, predatory behavior, harassment, invasion of privacy, and using the information on the site for these or any and all illegal purposes are all violations of the Terms of Service. Anyone who engages in such activities will be banned from the site and such activities will, when appropriate, be reported to the authorities. Please report any evidence of such activities via our feedback form
